Yuriy: "The party which wins an election should be the only entitled to form a majority with those who have similar positions"
12.09.2008
Dear Viktor Fedorovych!
When one analyzes the reasons of a political crisis, the past extraordinary elections to VR involuntarily come up. The Party of Regions obtained most votes, and nevertheless it appeared in the opposition. How could have this happened? It does contradict common sense. Therefore, it is necessary to revise urgently the procedure of forming a ruling coalition.
A party which wins an election should be the only entitled to join to a majority those who have similar positions. Otherwise the situation would be the following: one party wins an election and other parties sharing the idea to throw aside the winner and facing no legal obstacles, then why do they have no point in uniting as it is the only chance to get into power.
