 Viktor Yanukovych met with Leszek Miller

The Party of Regions Leader Viktor Yanukovych held a meeting with Poland's former prime minister Leszek Miller. They discussed the internal political situation in Ukraine and the prospects for development of Ukrainian-Polish relations, in particular, the progress of preparation for conducting the European Football Championship Euro 2012 in both countries.

"The Party of Regions attaches great importance to developing and enhancing cooperation with Poland", Viktor Yanukovych pointed out. According to him, the same position is supported by the main Ukrainian political parties.
"The collapse of the parliamentary majority in Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine did not surprise us, – the Party of Regions Leader marked estimating the recent events in parliament. – We have predicted it from the first days of existence of the so-called democratic coalition. Now it is in the society's interest to use this historical moment for removing obstacles to carrying out reforms".
Leszek Miller wished Viktor Yanukovych success in political fight and new victories. | |
