Viktor Yanukovych met with the NBU Head Volodymyr Stelmakh

Head of the National Bank of Ukraine Volodymyr Stelmakh visited the Party of Regions office on Lypska Street. The sides discussed the Party of Regions' plan on the way out of the economic and financial crisis, which had been submitted to parliament.
"For the first time in Ukraine's history and our practice we have approved the drafts at the Opposition government meeting to present them in parliament as an alternative to the governmental ones. Because all the suggestions of the Tymoshenko government are the requirements of the International Monetary Fund, not adapted to Ukraine", Viktor Yanukovych marked. According to him, to handle the crisis, the Opposition government proposes setting up a stabilization fund in the first place.
"We should stabilize the financial system, and further this stabilization will be reflected on performance of the economy's industries", Viktor Yanukovych said. | |
