Viktor Yanukovych visits Lugansk

Viktor Yanukovych meets with miners, their families and other dwellers of Lugansk Region miners’ towns.






During a trip to Mykolaiv on October 4, 2004, Viktor Fedorovych Yanukovych participates in a meeting at the ‘Damen Shipyards Ocean’ Ship-Building Plant on the occasion of launching a cargo container ‘Anzhelika’.

During a two-day working trip to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, September 18, 2004 the Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych visits the heroic city of Kerch where he takes part in the Day of the City festivities and in the opening of a new trolleybus route and ‘Crimea-Caucasus’ ferry railway connection.






September 2-3, 2004. During a two-day visit to the Republic of Iraq the Head of the Ukrainian government Viktor Yanukovych visits Baghdad, military base ‘Delta’ in El-Kut where the headquarters of 6th separate mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is located; and returns to Kyiv with the first group of Iraqi children.






On August 29, 2004, Donetsk celebrates Miners’ Day and its 135th birthday. People heartily greeted their former governor, the present Prime Minister and a candidate for the President Viktor Yanukovych. Viktor Yanukovych presented coal-miners with state awards; together with Boris Paton he opened the House of Scientists, took part in festivities at the stadium; talked with miners; presented ‘Tavria’ car keys to nine war invalids; visited Svyato-Vasilivskiy monastery and sang a song for his countrymen.






The moments snatched out from Viktor Yanukovych’s working life are full of resolute energy and tension. Whatever it is: either a state council or a sincere talk with ordinary people, a public speech or a moment of reflection, business trips to regions or summit talks – everywhere you can trace the Prime Minister’s great charisma.
