Viktor Yanukovych: BYUT did not let protect the people from the crisis

Today, instead of rescuing Ukraine, the Tymoshenko government not only failed to present a program for protecting Ukraine and its citizens from the crisis. The deputies from BYUT also blockaded parliament and did not let vote on the alterations to the budget and creation of a stabilization fund, did not let guarantee the people repayment of their bank deposits.
Hence the authorities have proved once again that they are engaged exceptionally in internal squabbles and fights. Tymoshenko and BYUT together with the whole orange team left the society without protection against the consequences of the economic, social and financial crisis, which they have been creating practically during the whole year.
Therefore, all the responsibility for the consequences of the threats impending over Ukraine today is completely of the current government. Precisely it will be accountable for catastrophic worsening of people's lives, for destruction of the economy, for a leap of unemployment, for a rise in prices and for high inflation.
Having paralyzed the parliament, without a plan for Ukraine's rescue, the Block of Yulia Tymoshenko pushed the state into complete chaos, in a catastrophe. And the people – into a cold and hungry winter.
Today the orange team has become a criminal regime which has fully subordinated the state's and citizens' interests to its selfish aim – retaining power at any cost. All the responsibility for the consequences of Tymoshenko's such criminal policy will weigh on her personally and on the whole ruling team.
In this situation the Party of Regions demands from the government either to overcome the crisis or admit in public its failure to do so.
The Party of Regions points out that we as a professional, experienced and responsible force are ready to take the responsibility, lead the country out of the crisis, establish order and ensure Ukraine's sustainable growth. | |
