The Prime Minister urges regions to introduce energy-saving technologies more actively

The Head of Government Viktor Yanukovych urges regions to introduce energy-saving technologies more actively. The Prime Minister said this while holding a meeting with administrative-economic members of Mykolayiv region.
The Premier noted that gas price which Ukraine has today and probably will have next year, would give an opportunity to introduce energy-saving technologies as soon as possible. According to Viktor Yanukovych, this direction will be one of the top priorities of the Government. At the same time the Prime Minister noted that such technologies should be introduced not only in production but also in the houses of every Ukrainian.
Speaking about key directions of Government's activity in this sphere, Viktor Yanukovych stated that the Cabinet of Ministers intends to refuse gradually from using gas for "lightening" coal in heat-and-power engineering by improving energy coal quality as well as by furnace reconstruction. | |
