Dear compatriots!
Responsible and strong policy is a policy when the choice is made only to the good of people and state. This choice is not always easy as we are people and have our emotions, ambitions, feelings.
But we are strong at that only when we are able to clinch both feelings and ambitions tightly in our fist while taking a decision. Only good of the people, its welfare and prospects of Ukraine shall be a priority in dictating the right choice.
I know, dear compatriots, you would like to hear, probably, another words and appeals. But I have always told you the truth. And it was the guarantee of our mutual confidence.
I am confident, the matter will remain the same now when the time has come to take a decision. When we must make a choice between: the crisis, civil confrontation, economy collapse, chaos in the country, disunity in the state and people's welfare and unity of Ukraine.
No doubts we choose welfare and unity even if we are to compromise.
Dear compatriots, team-mates!
We are following the path of law and truth. We have patiently waited for the ruling of the Constitutional Court. We believed in a triumph of law and democracy. But our hopes, as of our opponents, that democratic values are the highest priority have not been justified.
We see that the work of the Constitutional Court has been blocked. They do their best to destabilize the situation, breed strife among the people, oppose one region to another. Because the opposition needs crisis.
But we need stability and good for the people.
They want chairs and posts.
And we want economic growth and new work places.
They want dictatorship.
And we want democracy.
They need privatization for "dear friends". And we need deserved wages for those who work and good pensions for the retirees.
We know the bitter truth – the populists will break not only democracy and law for their party interests. They are able even to give up to the holiest – welfare of the people and unity of the state.
They are ready to divide Ukraine, plunge the country into abyss of civil confrontation to destroy economy.
But we'll never allow it. With the purpose to protect Ukraine, to keep the prospect for the people we create a working group which is to draw up acts procedure of all parliamentary political parties, the President, Verkhovna Rada, Cabinet of Ministers. Thus, we enter into the legal field, all branches of power will function in compliance with the legal field, the full Parliament will adopt necessary laws for holding pre-term elections and only after that it will be possible to take a decision on snap elections. Such procedure will meet democratic foundations of the development of our state which are based on law supremacy, people's rights and freedoms. These are our principles we have always upheld and will continue to uphold and due to them we will win again. | |
