Viktor Yanukovych: The Party of Regions will not vote for a populist program of the present Government

Answering the questions of journalists in Kharkiv, Viktor Yanukovych, the Party of Regions Leader declared that the Party of Regions will not vote for adoption of Tymoshenko's Government program "Ukrainian breach: for people, and not for politicians".
Viktor Yanukovych pointed out that according to the assessment of the party's experts the version of the program ratified by the Government is similar to those presented before and bears a clearly expressed populist pattern.
"We will not support such a program", – the Leader of the party said.
The process of forming the united opposition is launched at the moment and a place for the representatives of other parties and public organizations could be found in the consolidated opposition government, – Viktor Yanukovych emphasized as well. – We are going to create an environment for all politicians and public persons who possess an ability to be of benefit for our state. And effective control of the power is our responsibility, the responsibility of opposition. | |
