Today we are witnesses and participants of a historic event which is quite unordinary. It can be said that the cart driven by the so-called democratic coalition has finally come to the end and it can be said "get out".

Without any humor I would like to say a few words. Unfortunately, it is our history. And life confirmed correctness of the warnings which we have been making since maidan euphoria.

We warned that the orange politicians were manipulating the people's aspirations for justice and truth.

They use the citizens to achieve their own aims which have nothing in common with promises to give Ukraine prosperity, order and equality before the Law.

Our predictions, unfortunately, proved to be true. The orange's policy caused Ukraine to live in the conditions of permanent shocks, crises and scandals for a long time. Palace revolutions were proceeded with pre-term elections, pre-term elections – with worsening of the situation within the country, rise in prices and inflation, decline in the people's standard of living, diminishing of the country's international authority, etc. Ukraine's unthought pushing into NATO and the authorities' unreasonable behavior during the Georgian conflict have exposed our state to a real threat of losing peace on our land for the first time.

All our calls to unite and abandon the country's separation to "democrats" and "non-democrats" were ignored. Instead, the attempts to rewrite the history were made.

The Ukrainians were persuaded: there is no alternative to the orange coalition.

The society was kept on being divided, the Constitution – subordinated to political expedience, and the economy – to the populist purposes.

Today this process is over. And, as I said, the cart has already come to an end and stuck in a swamp.

The so-called democratic coalition, which in fact had never existed, vanished like "dew in the sunshine".

Time and tremendous efforts were wasted away. The limit of the millions' trust in the current authorities' capability to lead the state out to a path of democracy and development was squandered.

In this situation we continue pursuing our position and we repeat: there is only one way out – the unity of the country, but the unity with the Ukrainian people. Carrying out a policy independent of Ukrainian people is impossible. These times have also gone down in history. You and us know it well. Any new configurations created without participation of the state's main forces are doomed.

Any decisions which will be made without taking into account the people's will lead to nowhere.

What, in my opinion, should we consider and which aims should we put?

Firstly, raise the people's standard of living substantially because we know what price advance and inflation entailed this year. As for arranging the authorities' actions, – set a purpose for them to work efficiently, to make alterations to the Constitution and clearly segregate the plenary powers of the branches of power. To agree on the principles of home and foreign policy, to secure the country against the careless politicians' actions regardless of the position they occupy.

To decentralize power, to implement an array of reforms, including the judicial one. To introduce the system of all-Ukrainian and local referendums and to put into practice a number of important decisions which you and us have discussed a lot and which we promised to the voters. It is high time this was executed. It could not be done without support of millions of our citizens.

Therefore, from this tribune I say once again: we did not initiate last year's pre-term elections and we will not initiate the upcoming ones if they take place. We call for everyone to think over today what the Ukrainian people need – squabbles, fights or the authorities' efficient policy which will lead to improvement of our citizens' life.

Consequently, we will persistently move towards our aim – improvement of our citizens' life and development of a strong independent Ukraine. We feel our citizens' support and believe that our efforts will ensure the changes extremely needed for everyone.
