Viktor Yanukovych: There is only one way to forget about the failed orange authorities forever: through a decision of Ukrainian people

Viktor Yanukovych was met with applause and exclamations of the participants at today's opening of an overpass in Lugansk.
In his speech to the citizens and the Party of Regions activists who gathered, Viktor Yanukovych congratulated them all on the 70th anniversary of Lugansk region.
"I have attended many of your anniversaries before, though I do not recollect that you have previously adorned a holiday by launching such serious projects as today – antituberculosis hospital, overpass, philharmonic hall. And frankly speaking these are very pleasant events.
What have we actually seen since 2004? The discords and crisis generated by the orange team have become a feature of the recent years. And it is fully logical that the orange coalition collapsed. The authorities who only give pledges and do not fulfill them are doomed. And there is only one way to forget about them forever: through a decision of Ukrainian people", he said.
"We will never abandon the principles you had given us. We will not let humiliate Russian-speaking citizens living in Ukraine, abase veterans, rewrite history, embroil us with Russia", Viktor Yanukovych underlined.
As for the overpass which was opened today by Viktor Yanukovych, it had been in a crisis condition for many years. The concrete beams almost decayed. During the reconstruction they were completely replaced.
The reconstruction of the overpass will enable to improve entrance in the city and communication with the districts of the region. Now it will be much easier to get there. The reconstruction of the overpass was carried out owing to the Viktor Yanukovych government, which provided the money necessary for launching the project.
Making a speech at the opening of the overpass, the Head of the Lugansk regional state administration Oleksandr Antipov marked that precisely thanks to the V. Yanukovych government the road workers began the reconstruction of this unit which is vitally important for Lugansk. "Unfortunately, this year the government refused to give us funds", O. Antipov informed.
The cost of the reconstruction of the overpass is 40 million hryvnias. | |
