Viktor Yanukovych: It is necessary to address the people and stop bacchanalia in the government

The Party of Regions has not supported the idea of conducting pre-term parliamentary elections. Neither the past nor the upcoming ones.
However, confrontation at the highest levels of power reached such an extent that a serious conflict could raise and the citizens of our country could be plunged in it. Actually, for the time being the authorities do not solve the problems of the people, the problems of the state. They are engaged exceptionally in a fight for ruling seats.
Chaos dominates, the state mechanisms which have to ensure stability in the society do not work. Prices are growing, the people's life is getting harder. The conflict involves defense and law enforcement bodies. Courts are under hand control. It is a catastrophe.
And it completely apparent that the only way out is addressing the people. People should come to ballot-boxes and thus stop the existent bacchanalia. Unless it occurs, I am afraid, this time the state power system will not have enough firmness...
Therefore, the elections should take place. Order should replace chaos. And it should be done immediately. Enough dividing the country, all of us need stability. | |
